Dylan Moran

Had the great pleasure of being front row in the audience of Dylan Moran‘s standup comedy performance at Parramatta Riverside Theatre this evening.
Dylan Moran
Dylan is mostly known for his part as David on Shaun of the Dead (one of my all time favourite movies) but even more so for his own series Black Books. His performance tonight was fantastic, making Ruth & I laugh (i guess thats the point) at his many observations, too many to even begin repeating, but if you get the chance to go see him, do so!

iRiver U10

Got my hands on a new tech toy today, the iRiver U10 which is an Ultra Portable Media Player. If you know what an iPod is, then you are getting close to what this thing does.iRiver U10

the U10 play’s MP3 audio files, video, has a radio and an alarm clock, plays Flash games and can even record using the built in microphone. The 1Gb model I am now the proud owner of is worth around $US250 and I also have the cradle & remote control, making it work like a mini tv.
One of the cool things about this device is that the interface is built entirely with Flash, or to be more specific, it runs using Adobe’s Flash Lite. Video podcasts here i come..
