SAP Australian Users Group in Sydney

Posted on 30 July 2008 by Mark Szulc

Hi to everyone who attended my session at the SAP Australian Users Group in Sydney yesterday. It was a fun session with a very enthusiastic audience.

SAP users over the years put up with complicated screens (and lets face it, most businesses are complicated!) but there is a huge potential to extend the reach of an SAP system using Interactive Forms. In the 45 minute session yesterday I was able to quickly design a form using LiveCycle Designer, easily bind it to an XML schema then bind it to a web service to populate the data within the form. After that my collegue from SAP, Michael Denning showed how in real time the PDF form could update a live running SAP system.

Below is a snapshot of my slide deck from the presentation that talks to the benefits. If you’d like more information just let me know!
